A classic lake boat

MY-Electroboat's MY-Tramonto is a Bavarian lake boat in the traditional sense: low power, low weight, a defined seating and lounging area, and a hull meant to move quietly at walking pace. A 6 kW motor in a 280 kg hull is not going to plane and is not intended to; this is the electric equivalent of a small inboard launch, and on the Alpine lakes where many of these boats live, low-power electric propulsion is often the only propulsion permitted. That regulatory context is a large part of the value.

Where the price sits

At €36,900 it is priced as a premium small day boat rather than an entry-level one, and the money is going into finish and hull rather than into performance or battery. Buyers cross-shopping against cheaper 5- to 6-metre electric sloops should look closely at build quality and at the dealer relationship, because on paper the specification is modest.

The caveat you cannot skip

There is no published battery capacity. The website's spec widget shows "0 kWh", which is a rendering placeholder, not zero — but it means there is genuinely no figure to compare. Without it, endurance cannot be assessed at all, and a buyer should insist on the usable kWh, the chemistry and the charging time in writing before ordering. Confirm what the €36,900 includes, too.
